There's no real reason that I choose today as my next update, but I can tell you easily that a lot has happened since April. We had another great Wesley Weekend reunion in Blacksburg, Tom and Amy got married a few weeks ago, the Sea Scouts Regatta and a weekend in Ocean City round out the numerous adventures over May and June. Most recently, this morning I underwent a Lasik proceedure to correct my vision. Now, just eight hours later, I can see very clearly from both eyes without contacts or glasses. A very worthwhile experience, and completely painless. The whole bladeless Intralase proceedure lasted only ten minutes or so, and with only a little discomfort for a few hours afterward. Its a big change in my life to have this done, having been stuck behind contacts since I was about 14. I also went to the dentist, and found I have one cavity that needs to be filled. Its a big month for my health insurance! Maybe I'll take the time to write again soon, if enough people read this. Also be on the lookout for more picture pages soon.
